Sonia Lockwood
Sonia has been a consultant colorectal surgeon at Bradford Teaching Hospitals since 2014.
Her clinical expertise and interest lie in the fields of general surgery and coloproctology, in particular laparoscopic surgery.
She has a sub-specialty interest and considerable expertise in the assessment, diagnosis and management of functional colorectal disorders.
John "JW" Beard, MD, MBA
John “JW” Beard, MD, APSF board Member and Chief Medical Officer of GE HealthCare – Patient Care Solutions. Prior to entering the medical industry, Dr. Beard was in clinical practice for fifteen years as an anesthesiologist. While in clinical practice, Dr. Beard led multiple quality improvement initiatives and held leadership positions including Chairman and Medical Director of the Department of Anesthesia.
Dr. Marco Luchetti, MD, MSc
European Clinical Manager – Acute Care, GE HealthCare
Dr. Luchetti is a Senior Consultant in Anesthesia and Intensive Care, with a particular interest in respiratory disorders and ventilatory assistance. He earned a MSc in Pain Medicine. He has a strong commitment to clinical research, with a record of over 70 peer-reviewed publications. He has participated as an invited speaker in many congresses, meetings and courses. His strong interest in medical education has led him to be an Instructor of Advanced Medical Simulation with skills in experiential learning, facilitation and debriefing.
