Dr. Rosie Hogg
Rosie Hogg is a consultant anaesthetist based at the Belfast Health & Social Care Trust with a specialist interest in regional anaesthesia. After graduating from the University of Leeds she completed her anaesthesia training in Northern Ireland. She was awarded a postgraduate MD from Queens University Belfast following research focused on patient-centred outcomes & regional anaesthesia and spent a year as visiting faculty at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia in 2014.
Her clinical interests include the development & integration of perioperative point of care ultrasound & the use of regional anaesthesia in improvement of perioperative outcomes. In addition to her clinical responsibilities she works for the Department of Health on the future development of elective care in Northern Ireland.
She is a passionate advocate for flexible working for parents & caregivers, in particular those with an interest in research or policy development.
