LPV Forum Part 1: Anesthesiology Current LPV Evidence

Watch part 1 of 5 for the GE Healthcare series, Lung Protective Ventilation Forum.

This first video summarizes the recommended set of lung protective ventilation (LPV) approaches for surgical patients. These LPV strategies were developed by a consensus of seven thought leaders in anesthesiology who came together to conduct a scientific review of the literature. Two of these thought leaders, Dr. Emmanuel Futier, MD, PhD., University Hospital of Clermont-Ferrand, FRANCE and Dr. Christopher Young, MD. FCCM, Duke University School of Medicine, North Carolina, USA, will discuss these LPV recommendations for the induction, maintenance and emergence phase of anesthesia throughout this video series.
