Sonia has been a consultant colorectal surgeon at Bradford Teaching Hospitals since 2014.

Her clinical expertise and interest lie in the fields of general surgery and coloproctology, in particular laparoscopic surgery.

She has a sub-specialty interest and considerable expertise in the assessment, diagnosis and management of functional colorectal disorders.

Frederic Michard

Dr. Frederic Michard, MD, PhD

Critical Care MD PhD trained in Paris, France, and at the Massachussets General Hospital-Harvard Medical School in Boston, USA. Former Chef de Clinique at Assistance Publique-Hopitaux de Paris.

Known for the invention of the Pulse Pressure Variation (PPV), a parameter useful to guide fluid therapy, now displayed on most bedside and hemodynamic monitors.

Architect of acclaimed graphical displays for visual clinical decision support. Former Medical Director & VP-Global Medical Strategy of a California based Medtec company with >$4B annual revenues. Initiator of the Enhanced Surgical Recovery program, the main growth driver for the Critical Care division.

Founder & Managing Director of MiCo, a Swiss consulting firm specialized in digital innovations with medical applications. Published researcher in patient monitoring solutions (>10,000 citations in Google Scholar). Frequent lecturer on cardio-respiratory physiology, monitoring solutions, and digital innovations at national and international conferences.

Meera Joshi

Meera Joshi, PhD, MBBS, MRCS

Dr. Joshi is Specialist Registrar at Ashford & St Peters Hospital in the KSS Deanery. She is Clinical Research Fellow in the department of Surgery and Cancer at Imperial College London. She has recently completed a PhD on ‘Optimising the identification of acute deterioration and sepsis through digital technology. Dr. Joshi has received several awards for her work including; the prestigious British Science Association Isambard Kingdom Brunel Award Lecture 2020, the Royal College of Surgeons England Research Fellowship and winner of the London Surgical Symposium. She has peer reviewed publications on wearable sensors and has been invited to present her work at several international meetings.

Aldo Lobozzo

Aldo Lobozzo

Aldo Lobozzo has over 10 years of experience in the healthcare industry. As a marketer with a biomedical engineering background, he is passionate and driven, focusing on mobile digital health and clinical parameters. Currently, he is the EMEA Marketing Manager at GE HealthCare. His responsibilities include leading the marketing strategy and portfolio positioning for this care area based on customer insights and key clinical, operational, and financial outcomes.

In this role, he collaborates with global marketing, product management, and regional teams to identify and develop innovative solutions to customer challenges. Aldo work with commercial units on data-driven, patient-centred new product launches and lifecycle marketing programs, driving commercial transformation through omnichannel and digital campaigns.

In addition, he cultivates a network of key opinion leaders, leveraging their expertise and feedback to enhance our value proposition and market presence. Some of his skills include management, marketing, and product development.
