Dr. Pyotr Platonov
Graduated from Pavlov Medical University (St. Petersburg, Russia) in 1994. In 2001, he received a PhD in the field of atrial fibrillation at Lund University (Sweden) and in 2002, he moved to Sweden. Since then he has been working in Arrhythmia Clinic as an electrophysiologist involved in both device surgery and catheter ablations. Since 2005, he is responsible for cardiogenetic service at Skane University Hospital. In 2012, he became professor of cardiology at Lund University. Dr Platonov is an active member of electrocardiology community and professional organisations: International Council on Electrocardiology (Council member), International Society for Holter and Noninvasive Electrocardiology (Board of Trustees), International Society of Computerized Electrocardiology (Board of Directors) and Computing in Cardiology (Board of Directors). Since 2018, he is the Academic Secretary of the Swedish Society of Cardiology.
