Sustainability in Anaesthesia and Peri-operative Medicine

This webinar will explore two areas of controversy in anaesthetic practice that have an impact on our environment and sustainability. The first is total intravenous anaesthesia versus inhalation anaesthesia. Two speakers will debate which is the best technique for patients AND for the environment and how we can improve our use of these techniques sustainably, including volatile capture technology. The second is disposable versus re-usable equipment, where two speakers will debate whether we should dispose of all our equipment to protect patients or what we can re-use and how.
