Prof. Jennifer Hunter

Emeritus Professor and Senior Research Fellow in the University of Liverpool.

After attending medical school at St Andrew’s, Prof Jennifer Hunter completed her training at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool, where she began her career in academic anaesthesia. Prof Hunter has been a lecturer at Liverpool’s Department of Anaesthesia, an Honorary Secretary for the Anaesthetic Research Society and was the first woman to become the Editor-in-Chief of the British Journal of Anaesthesia, and the Chair of the BJA Board.
